- Federal Resource Center for Special Education
The FRC supports a nationwide technical assistance network to respond to the needs of students with disabilities, especially students from under-represented populations. Through its work with the RRCs and the technical assistance networks, the FRC provides a national perspective for establishing technical assistance activities within and across regions by identifying and synthesizing emerging issues and trends. - National Transition Alliance for Youth with Disabilities (NTA)
Jointly funded in October 1995 by the United States Department of Education and United States Department of Labor to promote the transition of youth with disabilities toward desired postschool experiences, including gainful employment, postsecondary education and training, and independent living.

- Wheels for Humanity
Each year in the United States, tens of
thousands of wheelchairs are thrown away and
end up in landfills. Over 300,000 are retired
into attics, basements and back closets. Our
goal is to put these discarded wheelchairs back
