Participants will be able to:

of the esophagus and the swallow mechanism
- Define Esophageal reflux and describe its affects
on the voice, swallow, and airway (VSA)
- Describe irritable larynx syndrome and its affects
on the airway
- List successful treatments for irritable larynx

- View successful case studies of ILS with
treatment (irritable larynx syndrome)
- List indications for specific Endoscopic exams
necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

- Describe esophageal disorders and how they
affect the upper airway with video examples
- Define esophageal dysphagia
- Describe the importance of dysphagia
history in differential diagnosis
- Define LPR and how this affects the
voice, swallow, and airway
