Robert W. Quesal, PhD, CCC-SLPRobert W. Quesal, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a board-recognized specialist and mentor in fluency disorders and professor at Western Illinois University. He teaches courses in fluency disorders, anatomy, speech and hearing science, and voice disorders. He is a member of the Steering Committee for ASHA’s Special Interest Division for Fluency and Fluency Disorders. His research focuses on the evaluation of treatment outcomes for adolescents and adults who stutter, with special interest in affective and cognitive changes that occur as a result of treatment.
